Brass Locks In The Most Beautiful Cinema In The World
The Tuschinski Theater in Amsterdam has been declared the most gorgeous, eye-popping cinema in the world. No need to explain that the employees of Pathé and the entirety of the Netherlands are very proud of this, and so are we. We had the honor of installing our beautiful brass locks at this unique location with our partner Isero Amsterdam back in 2014.
How harsh it is that – just of all things – our locks serve to keep this “shrine to the movies” shuttered because of the lockdown :(.
This year should be one of celebration for Tuschinski: its 100th birthday is coming up, and on top it is considered the most beautiful theater in the world. As the jury wrote, it is an “ageless palace of dreams”.
We hope that theater manager David Hanemaayer, his team, and all lovers of Pathé Tuschinski will be able to enjoy this beautiful monument and great cinema again soon.
